Bee Good – Honey & Propolis 2-In-1 Cream Cleanser

Unless you’ve been way too tied up with your wedding planning (put the to-do list down girl!) then you might have been stumbling across more and more articles recently concerning natural beauty products.

It can be pretty difficult though to work out what is a no-no when it comes to the ingredients in our beauty products. Organic or natural doesn’t automatically mean paraben, sulphates, sls and colourants free and what are these so-called ‘nasties’ and why are they so bad for us anyway?

An interesting email from a natural skincare brand called Bee Good popped up in my inbox recently (thanks guys!) asking me if I would like to try their award winning natural Honey & Propolis 2-In-1 Cream Cleanser.

A quick browse through the pretty pastel pages of their website told me that their products are made from high quality, natural ingredients that are free from synthetic colours, mineral oil, silicone, SLS, SLES and parabens, plus they are packed full of British honey, propolis and beeswax! Sounded good, very au naturel (and actually quite tasty – who doesn’t like honey?!), so I accepted the offer gratefully and here’s the very first natural beauty review for you as I put the Bee Good cleanser to the test!

Review:

According to Bee Good, the cleanser contains British propolis, which is known for its healing, anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial properties. It also enhances skin renewal and is rich in vitamins B, C and E, along with being a natural skin healer.

The clever packaging with its pretty bee print makes you believe that this cleanser will be full of goodness before you even try it.

It smells fresh and pure and the product’s rich velvety consistency feels moisturising from the off. Since you smooth the cleanser onto your skin when it’s dry you can really massage and work it in before adding warm water to the muslin cloth that comes with the cleanser, wringing out any excess water, and then wiping away the cleanser from your face, repeating if necessary.

Your skin instantly feels squeaky clean and actually really calm which is great for sensitive skin, plus the muslin-cloth gives a super light exfoliation without the striped or dry sensations that some cleansers can leave you with.

After a few days use my skin genuinely felt plump and softer to the touch, so I would definitely say that our lovely little British bees can make a positive impact on your skincare routine, especially if you have sensitive skin.
