Favourite Etsy Finds – Giant Letter Wedding Balloons
Giant Love Letter Balloons £9.17 – Supply and Co at Etsy
Giant wedding balloons have been popping up at weddings for the last year or two and boy do they add impact and a touch of whimsy to a wedding day!
There’s so many beautiful big balloons with tassels to choose from, however the latest trend in giant wedding balloons is large latex letters! From huge hugs and kisses to oversized love letters, if you’re getting married abroad then these giant wedding balloons would make an impactful decor idea and because they are so lightweight they are easy to transport to your wedding location.
Simply speak to your wedding planner or venue about the idea and ask them if they can organise some helium for your wedding morning, order the balloons online and take them in your suitcase to your destination wedding – voila! If you’re having a hot weather destination wedding be sure to keep your balloons in the shade as the heat of the sun could burst them.

Friday Five – Fabulous Floral Altars

There’s been an abundance of fancy floral altars on the wedding scene recently, with the trend seeming to be that the more blooms your altar wears for your wedding, the better!
Talk about impact! This is one fabulous trend that certainly gives a ceremony the wow-factor whilst creating an amazingly vibrant and visual backdrop to your wedding photographs. So this week’s Friday Five brings you five of the most fabulous floral altars as inspiration for your big day.
If you’re getting married abroad be sure to discuss this type of idea with your wedding planner and/or florist as fresh flowers do wilt in the sun, so they might suggest that a floral altar is more suitable if you are having a morning or late afternoon ceremony or if you’re planning your destination wedding outside of the hotter summer months.
