When it comes to sharing real destination weddings on You Mean The World To Me the main focus tends to be on the venue as this is the key factor to decide upon with a wedding abroad. So the weddings featured aim to help you decide where in the world should you tie the knot through sharing a range of chic and unique wedding venues from across the globe!
Whilst on the subject of unique……today’s destination wedding took place in the idyllic Key West in sunny Florida however, the truly one of a kind feature in Beatriz and Chadwick’s wedding was the lovely locale that they chose; they said ‘I Do’ within the landscaped gardens of the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum!
Tucked away in the heart of Old Town Key West, this beautiful property was home to Ernest Hemingway (one of America’s most celebrated and respected authors) for more than ten years. Full of character and charm this exceptional venue gave the bride, the groom, and their guests (who all flew in from Philadelphia) a truly memorable wedding day.

Unique venues are what destination weddings are all about and today’s retro wedding takes distinctive to a whole new level!
Nadja and Andi held their vintage-inspired celebration at the quirky BaseCamp in Bonn, Germany. Described by many as the coolest place in the world this indoor campground is home to 15 vintage caravans, two nightsleepers, two American Airstreams and two VW vans, all artfully decorated by a movie set decorator! Not only a kitsch setting for a wedding, you can also sleep over at the site. How fab is that? You won’t be able to help but smile and fall in love with this wonderful one-off wedding day….
