These beautiful ceramic tile coasters are ‘more then just coasters’ they are ‘little squares of happiness’ says their maker Tilissimo at Etsy, and I would wholeheartedly agree!
There are so many delightful styles to choose from, so be sure to take a peek at the Tilissimo at Etsy shop and browse the full collection!
I love the travel themed tiles (of course) but I think that they would all make great wedding presents or thank you gifts or they could be used to decorate your wedding tables, one for each guest, to be taken home from your destination wedding as a favour. They would brighten your wedding tables or continue your travel theme and make unusual gifts. The customised number tiles could also be used to display your wedding tables numbers.
So if you’ve taken to these tiles as much as me, you’ll be picking up a set for your home, for gifts and for your destination wedding!

I hardly know where to begin with this shoot! It’s bursting with pops of warm weather brights, every single photograph literally has you longing for the joy of sunshiny days and the whole theme is inspired by travel, globes, maps and summer trips to one of Europe’s most vibrant cities…Amsterdam!
Throw in some seriously-stylish vintage inspiration, a cheerful bicycle or two and a hint of whimsy and you have all the quirky, creative ideas you need for a spectacular destination wedding!
“We LOVE summer travel! Myself and my husband Paul, have traveled all through Europe and so we decided to pull a bit of inspiration from one of our favorite places – Amsterdam! There’s just something about riding bicycles on cobblestone streets and of course the tulips. Mix in our addiction to all things vintage, in this case: vintage luggage, cameras, globes, collected stamps and travel tags and some of our very favorite vendors and you have this little inspiration shoot! We’re calling it ‘Summer In Amsterdam!’ – ENJOY!”
Yesterday the blog was transformed into a winter wonderland which was very in keeping with the cold December weather we are experiencing. This morning however, I’m sharing some summertime inspired style to brighten your week and leave you dreaming of sunshiny days – they’re closer than you think!
When you’re planning your wedding and you start to think about a colour palette for your big day, choosing hues that compliment the season within which you’ll tie the knot is a great place to start. If you’re getting married abroad and having a warm weather wedding, pretty pastels or bold and bright shades will compliment the sunshine scene and lush garden backdrops.
Today’s talented shoot team combined classic light colours with bold pops of pink and yellow, some sparkling sequins and hints of antique metallic for a fresh, modern vintage garden party theme. The addition of vintage luggage, mason jars and rustic wooden windows as a wedding altar heightened the vintage-vibe whilst still having an up-to-date edge.
A World Of Thanks Wedding Favour Bags – Clementine Weddings via Etsy
If you’re getting married abroad, you might not want to go overboard on favours that will be difficult to transport to your chosen wedding destination. If you are keen to have favours, then a simple and easy idea is to choose little local treats when you arrive at your location, so that you don’t have to bring them over with you.
Miniature bottles of local liquor, regionally grown organic olive oil or bundles of scrumptious sweets (not chocolate as they will melt!) will add a little local flavor to your favours which is perfect for a destination wedding and won’t break the bank either!
If you want to add a special finishing touch, these destination themed wedding favour bags will keep your gifts wrapped up and looking pretty on your tables and they are really lightweight to take over to your abroad wedding.
