Beatriz & Chadwick   ♥   Florida, USA

When it comes to sharing real destination weddings on You Mean The World To Me the main focus tends to be on the venue as this is the key factor to decide upon with a wedding abroad. So the weddings featured aim to help you decide where in the world should you tie the knot through sharing a range of chic and unique wedding venues from across the globe!

Whilst on the subject of unique……today’s destination wedding took place in the idyllic Key West in sunny Florida however, the truly one of a kind feature in Beatriz and Chadwick’s wedding was the lovely locale that they chose; they said ‘I Do’ within the landscaped gardens of the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum!

Tucked away in the heart of Old Town Key West, this beautiful property was home to Ernest Hemingway (one of America’s most celebrated and respected authors) for more than ten years. Full of character and charm this exceptional venue gave the bride, the groom, and their guests (who all flew in from Philadelphia) a truly memorable wedding day.

Tarin & Andrew   ♥   Miami, USA

Photographer:   Kane and Social

Glamorous, chic, stylish…these three words simply roll off the tongue when it comes to Tarin and Andrew’s sleek Miami hotel wedding.

Having chosen one of Miami Beach’s most elegant hotels with the finest address for their destination wedding – the opulent five star St Regis in Bal Harbour – the couple sensibly continued a theme of luxury throughout their day with the groom and groomsmen modelling suave tuxedos whilst Tarin the radiant bride looked every bit the sophisticated belle of the ball in her beautifully beaded and graceful gown.

On arrival at the hotel, opulent crystal chandeliers dazzled their guest in the Grand Hall before decadent and inviting table décor drew them into the impressive ballroom for the wedding breakfast. Sheer luxury at its best!

So many words could be used to describe Krystina and Gabriel’s Miami wedding day – stunning, elegant, refined, dreamy, magical, sensational – however the one term that rolls all of this wonderfulness into one is ‘glamorous’ and their Coconut Grove nuptials were most certainly glamorous with a capital G!

Krystina was a jaw-droppingly beautiful bride, sashaying down the aisle in a wow-factor Vera Wang gown and veil and shimmering Jimmy Choo stiletto sandals, Gabriel radiated with style in his dapper tux and the pair continued to dazzle their guests with a glitzy reception full of destination wedding gorgeousness. Prepare to swoon…

Stacey & John   ♥   Florida, USA

Photographer:   Earthmuse Photography

Are you totally over the wet and wintery weather? Longing to lay in the sunshine, feeling the heat of the sun’s rays and relax? Join the club!

Every year, as soon as January comes around all I can think about are blue skies, cocktails on the beach and swimming in warm waters!

Well, today’s beautiful beachy engagement shoot is to inspire all of us who want to beat the winter blues and are yearning for summer days or holidays!

Stacey and John headed to the bustling boardwalk of Hollywood Beach, South Florida to celebrate their engagement. Situated between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Hollywood is the epitome of Floridian fun.

Known as one of America’s beast beach boardwalks, the two and a half miles of pathway that runs alongside the Atlantic Ocean and the village of Hollywood and its cafe culture, is a mecca for sun worshipers, joggers, cyclists and roller-bladers.

Sounds like the perfect place for some winter sun and for today’s love birds to pop open some champagne and toast their upcoming nuptials!

Tessa & Daniel   ♥   Florida, USA

Photographer:   Black & Hue Photography

As I looked through Tessa and Daniel’s wedding photographs desperately trying to choose which ones to feature (it was pretty hard to pick just a few from this delightful selection!), I caught myself thinking that I’d love to be able to live my wedding day again.

Maybe it was their familiar nervous-excited smiles during the ceremony, or the emotion that you can quite clearly see written across both Tessa and Daniel’s faces as they have their first dance that got me; mostly though, I think it’s the beaming grins that this cute-couple are wearing throughout their reception, and the genuine pleasure of their nearest and dearest as they soak up the joyous atmosphere of the day.

Aside from making me reminisce, this wedding deserves a real wow! Tessa is heart-achingly pretty and hers and Daniel’s wedding day is effortlessly cool, rustic Americana at its best. It must certainly be said that one of the greatest things about destination weddings is that you open your options up to include a great choice and variety of locations and venues that you may not have had locally. An old schoolhouse for example certainly makes for a unique wedding venue and that’s exactly what today’s bride and groom chose for their nuptials.

Anyway, enough from me, I’ll let you see for yourself! Enjoy!

Mckenzie & Robert   ♥   Florida, USA

Photographer:   Alice Rose Photo

The weather outside might be looking pretty frightful but today’s engagement shoot is totally delightful!

So let’s ignore the wild and windy weather outside today as we are off to The Sunshine State of Florida on the blog for a super-sweet engagement session that will have you dreaming of summer days.

Mckenzie and Robert went on a playful tour of Winter Park, a charming suburban city in Orange County, Florida. Alice Rose Photo was on hand to capture the spirit of this darling duo and this pleasant and oh-so-pretty part of the world.

Dressed in their best off-duty wares this couple seriously sparkled their way through their stunning engagement shoot (and I’m not just referring to Mckenzie’s fabulous sequin outfits!). A saunter down the elegant Park Avenue shopping street (often referred to as ‘Little Europe’) ended with a tasty treat of what might possibly be the most mouthwatering ice creams I have ever seen!

Oh and not forgetting to mention Mckenzie’s engagement ring. I literally don’t need to say another word about it – you’ll know what I mean when you see it!
