Real Wedding – New Year’s Eve Party In Perth
Nikki & Felipe ♥ Perth, Australia
Photographer: Sarah Christensen Photo
I’ve always thought that New Year’s Eve would make a great day for a wedding; all of your guests will be in full party mode and what could be a more memorable and romantic way to bring in the new year?!
Felipe is originally from Brazil and Nikki from Perth, however they both now reside in New York City, so they chose Nikki’s homeland of Western Australia as a central meeting point for family and friends from all over the world to come together and celebrate their nuptials.
And celebrate they did! Nikki and Felipe set their hearts on throwing a New Year’s Eve wedding party to remember, and they certainly welcomed the New Year in with a bang, with the city’s famous firework display illuminating the sky overhead at the stroke of midnight.
I must also of course mention Nikki’s fabulous NYE bridal look, I’m sure that you’ll all agree that she couldn’t have picked a more suitable ensemble!
Real Wedding – Dancing In The Sydney Rain
Bree & Ross ♥ Sydney, Australia

Bree and Ross’s wedding is sleek Sydney styling at its best! They chose to tie the knot at North Head Manly with an intimate outdoor ceremony overlooking the striking coastline before dancing the night away under the city stars.
Bree looked incredible! She rocked a delicately detailed chiffon and silk gown with a wow-factor v-back, a fashion-forward waist length veil and a pair of gold twinkling Jimmy Choos (LOVE!) to perfectly coordinate with the sequined bridesmaid dress.
You’ll love everything about this wedding; it’s a party, a celebration, it’s relaxed-yet-super-stylish and it certainly exudes cool.
Real Wedding – Blissful Beach Elopement
Sophie & Joel ♥ Victoria, Australia

At first glance, you could easily mistake Sophie and Joel’s beach elopement as a stylish shoot! Not only did Sophie the bride look effortlessly chic (the ultimate style for a blissful beach elopement) whilst her hubby-to-be and little boy Bill were rocking some serious beach ceremony cool, but the oh-so-talented Sarah Christensen was also by their side to capture the emotion and the nature of this darling day.
Elopements are becoming increasingly popular and it seems that this growth is due to similar reasons that couples tend to have a wedding abroad; they’re looking to tie the knot without the fanfare of a traditional big white wedding at home, and most are hoping for something more intimate, a little different and a wedding that is more unique and personal to them as a couple.
Simple yet overflowing with everything that is important at a wedding: love, happiness, unity and personality, of course!
“Sophie and Joel’s elopement was simple but absolutely stunning. They escaped to a gorgeous little stone cottage in Cape Bridgewater, a tiny town on The Great Ocean Road, Victoria and posted letters to their family and friends on the morning of the wedding to say: Surprise! We’re married.”
