You Mean The World To Me

We were lucky enough that this was our second visit to the United Arab Emirate city of Dubai and so we knew what to expect…although having previously visited didn’t stop us from getting giddy with excitement as we came in to land over the iconic cityscape. Looking out the airplane window, a sea of lights sparkled in the dark, mapping out the streets below (and The Palm and The World!) that make up this dynamic desert conurbation.

Honeymoon Hotel Review – Aguas De Ibiza, Santa Eulalia, Ibiza

The pretty resort of Santa Eulalia (the third largest town in Ibiza) is a mere 20minute drive from Ibiza airport. Honeymoon Hotel Review – Anantara Resort And Spa, Koh Samui, Thailand

Anantara Bophut

After three flights and 24 hours of travelling, arriving at Koh Samui airport would bring a smile to the face of even the weariest of traveller. Looking more like a Hawaiian hut than an airport we were collected from the plane by little trestle trains, brightly coloured and open aired. “Only in Thailand” my man and I said to each other as we trundled along the runway towards the arrivals hut alongside landing jet planes.

This is what we love about Thailand (hence this being our third visit!). It’s not only a beautiful and magical country full of wonderful people and the tastiest of food but also quirky and unique and in so many places still really undeveloped.
