Since planning a wedding can sometimes be quite stressful, I’ve recently been sharing some wellbeing methods that I think you might enjoy.
The projects are not only designed to help clear your mind and keep you calm at demanding periods of your life (coordinating your wedding being a prime example!) but to bring even more happiness to your day-to-day.
Yesterday the blog was transformed into a winter wonderland which was very in keeping with the cold December weather we are experiencing. This morning however, I’m sharing some summertime inspired style to brighten your week and leave you dreaming of sunshiny days – they’re closer than you think!
When you’re planning your wedding and you start to think about a colour palette for your big day, choosing hues that compliment the season within which you’ll tie the knot is a great place to start. If you’re getting married abroad and having a warm weather wedding, pretty pastels or bold and bright shades will compliment the sunshine scene and lush garden backdrops.
Today’s talented shoot team combined classic light colours with bold pops of pink and yellow, some sparkling sequins and hints of antique metallic for a fresh, modern vintage garden party theme. The addition of vintage luggage, mason jars and rustic wooden windows as a wedding altar heightened the vintage-vibe whilst still having an up-to-date edge.
Today’s delightful styled shoot from L’Estelle Photography is very on trend this season. Pastel shades are a huge fashion focus for this autumn/winter (I know, pale shades in winter – love it!) and they’re worn together for a soft look or teamed with dramatic black for a stylish statement.
To create a grown-up glamour look the styled shoot team focused on classic white and delicate pastel dresses, with hints of the palest pink against bold black for the supporting theme. A few splashes of juicy raspberry were added to create a vibrant and refreshing twist. And what a location! The rocky water’s edge created an enchanting backdrop fitting for a magical mermaid bride.
This striking colour combination produces a dramatic and decadent theme against the bright blue skies and reflective waters of a destination wedding. A touch of whimsy lightens the styling with delightful seahorse prints and a dreamy purple and pink daze of macaroons – YUM!
The leaves might be turning into a fabulous display of firecracker colours outside right now, but you’re most likely in the midst of planning your spring or summer wedding for next year, which leads us perfectly on to today’s pretty pastel styled shoot that is positively blooming with pale pink and Tiffany blue wedding theme inspiration and ideas.
Picture-perfect pink cherry blossom was the leading inspiration for L’Estelle Photography and Live The Dream Weddings, who combined this delicate shade with fresh and minty Tiffany blue hues to create a winning colour combo for the shoot.
A girly, vintage tea party was served on floral china whilst oversized helium balloons added an extra pop of Tiffany turquoise to the display – just the right finishing touches for this romantic spring inspiration.
And not forgetting the guys! Classic tuxedos have been making a stylish comeback for grooms and their groomsmen this year; they make the perfect partner to any classic-meets-modern wedding theme.
