In my opinion there’s no greater time to enjoy a city than at dawn. The magical moments when you can explore and appreciate the cityscape in almost silence, surrounded only by other knowing early birds, just before the city’s dwellers begin to stir and breath life into the streets.
Sasha Chou Photography wisely used the enchanting morning sunrise over the Williamsburg Bridge in New York City as a backdrop for today’s styled shoot. This peaceful time in the city that never sleeps drew a beautifully romantic light, the perfect companion to a vintage theme.
A lace Victoriana dress, an autumnal red rose and jasmine flower crown and a majestic bouquet delivered a creative contrast to the urban setting and produced a delightful fall wedding theme to inspire you.
Today’s delightful styled shoot from L’Estelle Photography is very on trend this season. Pastel shades are a huge fashion focus for this autumn/winter (I know, pale shades in winter – love it!) and they’re worn together for a soft look or teamed with dramatic black for a stylish statement.
To create a grown-up glamour look the styled shoot team focused on classic white and delicate pastel dresses, with hints of the palest pink against bold black for the supporting theme. A few splashes of juicy raspberry were added to create a vibrant and refreshing twist. And what a location! The rocky water’s edge created an enchanting backdrop fitting for a magical mermaid bride.
This striking colour combination produces a dramatic and decadent theme against the bright blue skies and reflective waters of a destination wedding. A touch of whimsy lightens the styling with delightful seahorse prints and a dreamy purple and pink daze of macaroons – YUM!
