Real bride review:

“I couldn’t have wanted anything more from my wedding photographer!”

“My (now) husband and I, were recommended Gypsy by Eat Ibiza who were doing the catering for our wedding in Ibiza. We met with Gypsy when we visited Ibiza for our food tasting with Eat Ibiza, eight months before our wedding day. Gypsy was meeting with a lot of her future couples/clients that weekend and so booked us in to meet up with her over a coffee in Santa Eulalia. We instantly felt that we were in good hands – Gypsy had forms at the ready for us to fill out and questions to ask us that we hadn’t really thought about.”

“Gypsy is thoroughly professional at all times and her vast experience shines through in her work and her portfolio. Her reportage wedding photography style, perfectly captures every moment.”

“On our wedding day, Gypsy arrived at our wedding hotel Can Gall early and instantly fit into the smooth running of the day. She captured the nerves, the tears, the smiles, the laughter, the hugs and all of the special moments between us and our guests. Gypsy was there as I got in to my wedding dress and when my Dad saw me for the first time and most of the time you don’t even realise that she is there, quietly photographing in the background of the scene.”

“Gypsy guided us when we were having our ‘couple’ photos, ensuring she got the best pictures (and our best side!).  This is really helpful when you are not used to having your picture taken.”

“When we were having our family and group shots taken, Gypsy was direct and kept order. It can be a little like herding sheep for this part of the day, when you’ve all had some champers and you need your Great Aunty in one shot, then out of the next and then back in again!  Her firm manner helped to make this part of the day run efficiently, whilst making us laugh to ensure we didn’t look like we were standing to attention, as group wedding photos sometimes can.”

“Initially we booked Gypsy for a half-day (approx. four hours). As we neared the wedding day, we decided to ask if we could extend our booking to a full day. We are so pleased that we did! The photos taken during the speeches, the wedding breakfast, our first dance and the party getting started, are some of the best.”

“We didn’t have to wait long after returning to the UK for Gypsy to send us a Viemo slideshow of our photographs. The excitement of pressing play for the first time was like all our Christmases had come at once. Okay, okay, cheesy I know! But so true! We honestly had butterflies. We watched the photos through about five times in a row. The slideshow was over 20 minutes long – Gypsy had taken so many photos for us and every single one was a firm favourite.”

“A few weeks later a beautiful box arrived from Gypsy. It contained a disc with all of our photos on in colour, a selection of black and white shots and a few of Gypsy’s favourites that she had edited with different colours or effects, along with a disc with the slideshow on. All in all, they were perfect. We were really happy and couldn’t have asked for me.”

“I would highly recommend using Gypsy Westwood Photography if you are marrying in Ibiza – you won’t be disappointed.”
