When it comes to sharing real destination weddings on You Mean The World To Me the main focus tends to be on the venue as this is the key factor to decide upon with a wedding abroad. So the weddings featured aim to help you decide where in the world should you tie the knot through sharing a range of chic and unique wedding venues from across the globe!

Whilst on the subject of unique……today’s destination wedding took place in the idyllic Key West in sunny Florida however, the truly one of a kind feature in Beatriz and Chadwick’s wedding was the lovely locale that they chose; they said ‘I Do’ within the landscaped gardens of the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum!

Tucked away in the heart of Old Town Key West, this beautiful property was home to Ernest Hemingway (one of America’s most celebrated and respected authors) for more than ten years. Full of character and charm this exceptional venue gave the bride, the groom, and their guests (who all flew in from Philadelphia) a truly memorable wedding day.

“Located on Whitehead Street and nestled in the heart of Old Town Key West, the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum was once home to one of America’s most honored and respected authors. In addition to it’s most famous resident, the location has also famously been home to many unique feline residents. Approximately 50 polydactyl (six-toed) cats live on the property, many which are descendants of Hemingway’s original six-toed cat named Snow White.”

“We were treated to a few of these furry friends making their appearance throughout the day! The grounds are lush with tropical foliage and boast a beautiful lawn perfect for a lovely evening reception! This wonderful couple was a true pleasure to work with! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. John!”
