When it comes to sharing real destination weddings on You Mean The World To Me the main focus tends to be on the venue as this is the key factor to decide upon with a wedding abroad. So the weddings featured aim to help you decide where in the world should you tie the knot through sharing a range of chic and unique wedding venues from across the globe!

Whilst on the subject of unique……today’s destination wedding took place in the idyllic Key West in sunny Florida however, the truly one of a kind feature in Beatriz and Chadwick’s wedding was the lovely locale that they chose; they said ‘I Do’ within the landscaped gardens of the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum!

Tucked away in the heart of Old Town Key West, this beautiful property was home to Ernest Hemingway (one of America’s most celebrated and respected authors) for more than ten years. Full of character and charm this exceptional venue gave the bride, the groom, and their guests (who all flew in from Philadelphia) a truly memorable wedding day.

Tarin & Andrew   ♥   Miami, USA

Photographer:   Kane and Social

Glamorous, chic, stylish…these three words simply roll off the tongue when it comes to Tarin and Andrew’s sleek Miami hotel wedding.

Having chosen one of Miami Beach’s most elegant hotels with the finest address for their destination wedding – the opulent five star St Regis in Bal Harbour – the couple sensibly continued a theme of luxury throughout their day with the groom and groomsmen modelling suave tuxedos whilst Tarin the radiant bride looked every bit the sophisticated belle of the ball in her beautifully beaded and graceful gown.

On arrival at the hotel, opulent crystal chandeliers dazzled their guest in the Grand Hall before decadent and inviting table décor drew them into the impressive ballroom for the wedding breakfast. Sheer luxury at its best!

Nothing says sophisticated glamour more than a luxurious Miami Beach wedding and Lauren and Xavier wisely opted for the elegance of The Bath Club for their stylish summer soiree.

This chic couple live in New York City but they tied the knot at St. Patrick Church, in magical Miami Beach surrounded by all of their loved ones before being whisked off in a shiny vintage Rolls Royce to the famed venue of The Bath Club.

Real Wedding – An Old Schoolhouse Ceremony In Fellsmere, Florida

Tessa & Daniel   ♥   Florida, USA

Photographer:   Black & Hue Photography

As I looked through Tessa and Daniel’s wedding photographs desperately trying to choose which ones to feature (it was pretty hard to pick just a few from this delightful selection!), I caught myself thinking that I’d love to be able to live my wedding day again.

Maybe it was their familiar nervous-excited smiles during the ceremony, or the emotion that you can quite clearly see written across both Tessa and Daniel’s faces as they have their first dance that got me; mostly though, I think it’s the beaming grins that this cute-couple are wearing throughout their reception, and the genuine pleasure of their nearest and dearest as they soak up the joyous atmosphere of the day.

Aside from making me reminisce, this wedding deserves a real wow! Tessa is heart-achingly pretty and hers and Daniel’s wedding day is effortlessly cool, rustic Americana at its best. It must certainly be said that one of the greatest things about destination weddings is that you open your options up to include a great choice and variety of locations and venues that you may not have had locally. An old schoolhouse for example certainly makes for a unique wedding venue and that’s exactly what today’s bride and groom chose for their nuptials.

Anyway, enough from me, I’ll let you see for yourself! Enjoy!

Jessica & Rex   ♥   Florida, USA

Photographer:   Villetto Photography

There’s been a definite autumnal chill to the air this last week here in the UK and it has left us all wondering where the delightful summer sunshine has gone (and in a real outfit dilemma everyday since sandals and bare legs are suddenly no longer the look du jour!).

If like me, this wintery weather leaves you cold and you’re more of a warm weather gal then the promise of clear blue sunshiny skies on your wedding day might be your top reason for wanting a destination wedding.

If that sounds like you then you will be sure to fall head over heels for today’s Longboat Key Beach Club wedding, Florida. It has all the right ingredients for a delightful destination day including a stunning beach ceremony with the rolling waves of the Gulf of Mexico as a backdrop combined with a marina side secret garden reception decorated in enchanting fairy lights. And the icing on the cake? Dancing under the moonlight, not a breeze in the fabulous Florida air. Perfection right?
