Lovers of the great outdoors will no doubt be dreaming of tying the knot alfresco, breathing in pure fresh air and surrounded by nothing but nature and untouched beauty.

Lou and Rob said “I Do” out in the bushland of the picturesque Goulburn River region in the heart of Victoria, Australia. A truly open-air affair, they said their vows beneath the forest’s branches within this charming National Park.

Lou looked everything a woodland boho bride should be and more, whilst splashes of fiery red added flare to their rustic wedding party look.

Sarah & Perry   ♥   Victoria, Australia

Photographer:   Oli Sansom

When photographer Oli Sansom sends through a wedding submission, you know it’s going to be a stylish one! His talents behind the lens were teamed with a private venue in Australia that was famously designed and built in the 1960s by Melbourne architect Robin Boyd.

Tucked away in the bushland of Victoria, the Boyd Baker House certainly delivered a cool and quirky retro setting and Sarah and Perry lovingly emphasized the scene with just the right hints of vintage styling and down-to-earth natural touches.

Discovering and sharing a unique location such as the iconic Boyd Baker House can be what destination days are all about. Deciding to do things a little differently and giving your guests a one of a kind experience, combined with a wedding celebration, is as exciting and rewarding for the bride and groom as it is for the wedding guests.

So sit back and enjoy taking a sneaky peek at this distinctive destination day, as it is truly exceptional!

Nikki & Felipe   ♥   Perth, Australia

Photographer:   Sarah Christensen Photo

I’ve always thought that New Year’s Eve would make a great day for a wedding; all of your guests will be in full party mode and what could be a more memorable and romantic way to bring in the new year?!

Felipe is originally from Brazil and Nikki from Perth, however they both now reside in New York City, so they chose Nikki’s homeland of Western Australia as a central meeting point for family and friends from all over the world to come together and celebrate their nuptials.

And celebrate they did! Nikki and Felipe set their hearts on throwing a New Year’s Eve wedding party to remember, and they certainly welcomed the New Year in with a bang, with the city’s famous firework display illuminating the sky overhead at the stroke of midnight.

I must also of course mention Nikki’s fabulous NYE bridal look, I’m sure that you’ll all agree that she couldn’t have picked a more suitable ensemble!

Bree & Ross   ♥   Sydney, Australia

Photographer:   Sarah Christensen Photo

Bree and Ross’s wedding is sleek Sydney styling at its best! They chose to tie the knot at North Head Manly with an intimate outdoor ceremony overlooking the striking coastline before dancing the night away under the city stars.

Bree looked incredible! She rocked a delicately detailed chiffon and silk gown with a wow-factor v-back, a fashion-forward waist length veil and a pair of gold twinkling Jimmy Choos (LOVE!) to perfectly coordinate with the sequined bridesmaid dress.

You’ll love everything about this wedding; it’s a party, a celebration, it’s relaxed-yet-super-stylish and it certainly exudes cool.

Rosie & Luke   ♥   Queensland, Australia

Photographer:   Oli Sansom

Now if there’s one thing You Mean The World To Me strives to be about it’s weddings that are slightly different from the norm, with the ideology of hosting your nuptials somewhere that means something special to you as a couple.

So imagine my delight when this casual and ever so cool camping wedding arrived in my Inbox from the super-talented photographer Oli Sansom!

Now I must admit, when I say camping, this is not your average night under canvas. Today’s couple tied the knot at Spicers Canopy, a luxurious safari-style outdoors retreat set within 5000 acres of pure nature and surrounded by magical mountains in the heart of Queensland’s romantic Scenic Rim – a wonderland for outdoor enjoyment and getting away from it all.

Rosie and Luke gathered their family and friends in this picturesque parkland for a day of understated elegance and uncomplicated comfort. They said their vows in a rustic outdoor setting before sitting down to a tastefully decorated family-style dining feast in the lodge with the star-filled sky and the sounds of the wilderness as their backdrop.

Literally overflowing with fun and personality I think you’ll agree that this is one remarkable wedding and I’m pretty sure it’s one that the wedding guests will never forget! Be sure to make your day memorable by ensuring that it’s perfectly fitting to you and your partner in every way.

Real Wedding – Blissful Beach Elopement

05/08/2014 | 6

Sophie & Joel   ♥   Victoria, Australia

Photographer:   Sarah Christensen Photo

At first glance, you could easily mistake Sophie and Joel’s beach elopement as a stylish shoot! Not only did Sophie the bride look effortlessly chic (the ultimate style for a blissful beach elopement) whilst her hubby-to-be and little boy Bill were rocking some serious beach ceremony cool, but the oh-so-talented Sarah Christensen was also by their side to capture the emotion and the nature of this darling day.

Elopements are becoming increasingly popular and it seems that this growth is due to similar reasons that couples tend to have a wedding abroad; they’re looking to tie the knot without the fanfare of a traditional big white wedding at home, and most are hoping for something more intimate, a little different and a wedding that is more unique and personal to them as a couple.

Simple yet overflowing with everything that is important at a wedding: love, happiness, unity and personality, of course!

“Sophie and Joel’s elopement was simple but absolutely stunning. They escaped to a gorgeous little stone cottage in Cape Bridgewater, a tiny town on The Great Ocean Road, Victoria and posted letters to their family and friends on the morning of the wedding to say: Surprise! We’re married.”
