Molly & David ♥ Utah, USA
Photographer: Trynh Photography
Molly and David’s story is a true tale of wanderlust love. Meeting in New York City where Molly migrated to for work, this destination duo then travelled around the world together before getting engaged in an oh-so-stunning spot (the Cayman Islands!) before deciding to tie the knot in Molly’s favourite city: Austin, Texas.
This is modern romance; a relationship that’s a worldwide adventure, one that enables you to enjoy new and exciting journeys as a twosome – what could be better?!
Here’s Molly’s friend Trinh (who is also the talented tog behind this beautifully atmospheric engagement shoot taken within another incredible location, the natural sandstones arches of the Arches National Park in Utah!) to tell you more…
Stephanie & James ♥ Louisiana, USA

If you’ve decided to have an engagement shoot, it is quite likely that the first thing that came into your mind as soon as you booked it was “What am I going to wear?”
If you’re still debating your all-important outfit choice, there’s a real trend at the moment for wearing white for an engagement shoot and today’s beautifully chic bohemian shoot sums up why! Not only does it get you and your hubby-to-be in the wedding state of mind but it’s a great opportunity to play around with a few wedding day looks.
Whether it’s seeing how you’ll look in a white dress, wearing your hair in a different way, trialing new make up styles or wearing a flower crown, you can experiment with ideas and sample a little of what it will be like when your big day actually arrives.
Ensure that your beau feels comfortable in his clothing choice too and that it works well together with your getup and be sure to pick outfits that work with the surroundings of your shoot. Stephanie and James opted for the historic, natural charm of the Rural Life Museum in Louisiana as the picture-perfect backdrop for their rustic, bohemian styled shoot.
Liz & Matt ♥ Kansas, USA

When it comes to destination weddings, one of the most important aspects to decide upon is the location. So the worldwide weddings, the engagement shoots and the travel features on the blog always aim to inspire the adventurer within you, to ignite a spark of wanderlust or to introduce you to a new place since ‘location, location, location’ is such a key element for jet-setting brides and grooms-to-be.
Today’s engagement shoot comes all the way from Kansas in the US. Wrapped up on a freezing February day Liz and Matt and their photography team braved the wintery blizzards to capture them on camera, cuddled up together, surrounded by the natural beauty of the place that they call home…before hot-footing it quick-smart to their favourite coffee shop to warm up.
If you’re considering an engagement shoot, today’s atmospheric pictures shows that all you really need is you, your loved one and the beautiful backdrops of your home town in order to create stunning photographs that you can treasure forever…because as Dorothy famously said: “There no place like home!”.
Stacey & John ♥ Florida, USA

Are you totally over the wet and wintery weather? Longing to lay in the sunshine, feeling the heat of the sun’s rays and relax? Join the club!
Every year, as soon as January comes around all I can think about are blue skies, cocktails on the beach and swimming in warm waters!
Well, today’s beautiful beachy engagement shoot is to inspire all of us who want to beat the winter blues and are yearning for summer days or holidays!
Stacey and John headed to the bustling boardwalk of Hollywood Beach, South Florida to celebrate their engagement. Situated between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Hollywood is the epitome of Floridian fun.
Known as one of America’s beast beach boardwalks, the two and a half miles of pathway that runs alongside the Atlantic Ocean and the village of Hollywood and its cafe culture, is a mecca for sun worshipers, joggers, cyclists and roller-bladers.
Sounds like the perfect place for some winter sun and for today’s love birds to pop open some champagne and toast their upcoming nuptials!
Letitcia & Judson ♥ Paris, France

Did you have a lovely Valentine’s weekend? If you were far too busy with your beau to take a read of the blog, be sure to take a peek at the love heart heels and fluttering heart flats that I shared in the Saturday Shopping Edit, they’d be fabulous footwear for your wedding day (or just as an extra special treat for yourself!).
To start off the new week we’re in Paris – the self-proclaimed City of Love! If you’re newly engaged and have a weekend away or a holiday in the diary, why not contact a photographer at your destination and book in an engagement session like Letitcia and Judson’s in Paris?
What could be more romantic as a backdrop to an engagement shoot than the Eiffel Tower, or having a photographer capture the special moments of you wandering hand in hand along the sidewalk of the River Seine?
Rebecca & Justin ♥ Maui, Hawaii
Photographer: Photography by Mariah Milan
Have you considered honeymooning in Hawaii or having a honeymoon shoot? Rebecca and Justin tied the knot in dazzling Las Vegas before jetting off to the magical Hawaiian island of Maui for their honeymoon, and whilst they were there it seemed like the perfect time to capture some sensational shots of themselves as newlyweds.
One of the must-see stretches of sand in Maui, Makena Big Beach on the south shore, is an impressive expanse of golden coastline. The aquamarine waters and dramatic skies created a beautiful backdrop and enhanced the romantic atmosphere between these two lovebirds.
If you’re still looking at locations for your honeymoon you’ll certainly have Hawaii as a contender once you see these striking shoreline snaps! And do take some time to consider a honeymoon shoot – what could be a better way to remember this enchanting time?
