Today’s anniversary session is more of a styled shoot! Photographer Matthew (of Matthew Irving Photography) and his wife Ariel are soon to be celebrating their first wedding anniversary, and so they thought what better way to mark this special occasion than with a stylish shoot in a sweet summer meadow.

Anniversary shoots are a great way to relive a little of your wedding day magic and to celebrate the milestones in your marriage. Ariel decided to model her wedding day wear and some delightfully darling details were added to enhance this idyllic inspiration for all you soon-to-be-wed readers.

With Ariel appearing as pretty as peach blossom, Matthew captured not only the essence of his blushing bride but also the wildly romantic late summer sunset scene. A peaches and cream wedding theme such as this would make a pretty perfect palette for a rustic and chic, outdoor soiree in the countryside – swoon-worthy and then some.

Ariel says:

“Mathew and I will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary in a matter of weeks. And since I’m now married to the most artistic, talented, and skilled photographer in Denver (no, I am in no way biased), I was happy to slip into my wedding attire for a Colorado bridal photography session. Actually, I became giddy at the simple thought of wearing my silk taffeta Justin Alexander gown again. It’s not too often a girl has a good reason to wear her wedding dress for a second time! I loved the way the sweetheart neckline, natural-waist, and A-line skirt accentuated my waist.”

“There were many details that pulled our luminous-romantic shoot together. Our amazing wedding florist recreated my bridal bouquet and centerpiece, enhancing the romance of the scene. And, my blush Nina heals delightfully complimented the bouquet’s Fado roses. As for luminance, nothing captures sunlight like gorgeous jewellery! I am one lucky bride… again!”
